"Property is nice, however town is extremely limited for food options. I did enjoy my dinner at the Indian restaurant however, my picky daughter was less enthusiastic. We should have gotten McDonald’s!"

"The spa has beautiful grounds. Each room has a separate cottage that was impeccably clean and comfortable. The people were most helpful and welcoming. We wish that we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Perfect place to stay for visiting Hobbiton, especially if you're doing the evening banquet. The studio unit was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet in a lovely rural setting. Breakfast items are also provided "

"We booked last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the Motor Lodge. Lived up to its rating. We just had one night and it’s was great. Comfy lounge area, SKY TV, comfy bed, great shower!"

"Gorgeous views and sunset each night with a cozy room and knock your socks of shower! Best one we’ve encountered in New Zealand. Jets all over to relax your tired and sore body after exploring all day. Collin and Jan were delightful and I highly recommend this place! We’d love to come back here "

"No pool open as advertised and no kitchen equpiment or water/facilities in caravan and very cold with no heater. Nice setting but property tired. Bathroom facilities clean."
