"The property was beautiful and had such a great time while we were there, really looking forward to staying again. Only comment would be on the cleanliness of the bathroom as the shower had water marks and soap scum all over the glass, bath hadn’t been cleaned as there were hairs throughout and the toilet and basin had stains. Laura the general manager is so lovely and accommodating so thank you for everything my family had a wonderful time"

"The staff were very friendly, approachable and welcoming. The unit was a good size for the number of people with a good selection of kitchen supplies (plates, pots, cutlery etc) making self-catering an easy task. Beds were comfortable and the linen fresh. The only thing we found a bit difficult was the bathroom/toilet layout. however, having a combined bathroom/toilet room would give the same issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Colonial Court and would be happy to stay there again. "

"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"
