"Check in went well and, for the price I paid for the room, facilities were good. While it would benefit from a refurbishment, the room was comfortable and clean. If you want everything to look and work like home, this won't be the hotel for you. The location is very walkable to the ferries and buses. "When torrential rail fell the window to the bathroom (located internally not facing outside) leaked badly and caused a pool of water to sit on bathroom floor, hallway and out front door. The shower has no curtain or barrier so always leaks over bathtub and the shower holder was so loose the shower head kept falling - ended up using as hand shower. You basically get what you pay for here, when i arrived i was told deposit must be paid in cash but nowhere on site or booking does it state this...

"It is nice that my package came with half board. The breakfast is very good. I was just disappointed about how outdated and rough many parts of the hotel look. I stayed on the 4th floor with my family and there is absolutely no WiFi up there, despite the description saying that there is WiFi in the rooms. Apparently there was a leak from our apartment to the one below that we were not aware of so we had to have plumbers in our apartment while we weren’t there. The Cardor part of the complex...

"Couldn’t speak highly enough of the host or the property. We were treated like family by Peter the owner. A very nice welcome followed by a fantastic stay. A beautiful house, kept very clean and tidy. The room we stayed was exactly as advertised in the photos. It’s in reason location too. In the middle of the Island so getting any where by car is easy, despite the roads in Gozo. "

"It was a quiet place, clean, looked exactly in the photos. Close to shops, restaurants, bus stops. Just seven minutes walk to the nearest beach. This was an excellent price for value, while in a budget category, it contained all basic amenities, I needed.
