"We didn't get the room we ordered (and paid for). The unfortunately very meager confirmation from Expedia, which did not list the room type, was not helpful either. There was a hole where the minibar with refrigerator was supposed to be. Hot water only came when asked one day and not at all the next. "Descent guesthouse in a good location near enough to everything but not loud and crazy. Within a 15 minute walk to bus station, 5-10 minutes away from food choices and banks etc. For this price hotels would be in worse shape so better to stay here. Shared shower and bathroom which were never cleaned i dont think. "

" The hotel was nice but in need of updating. We had a Japanese-styled room with rice paper doors with many damaged rice paper panels. There was no light next to the bed, only the overhead light. "Stayed in Room 107 for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very good condition with marble and tiles everywhere. My room was on the first floor. No lift though. The room had a strong smell of Naphthalene. At least there were no insects. Everything looked clean, although the floor was a bit dusty. I picked up some of it while walking barefoot and ended up using the slippers provided. "This resort was an oasis. The facility was immaculate and the staff were attentive and professional. The pool was at a perfect temperature. Their on-site dining was delicious; we recommend trying the Nepalese specials like Mustang Aloo. We arranged a tour to Lumbrini to visit the temples and it was a 40 minute drive with a very helpful guide. "
