"The check in and check out was extremely simple. Room setup and shower were both great. Having the laundry in the room was very convenient. Good location with highly rated restaurants and shops within walking distance. The negatives: - Being on the first floor and near the street is very loud. Could constantly hear sirens and people talking - There was a sewer smell of the window was open and the bathroom was used - The front desk is typically empty. You can get in touch with staff if you need...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It is one or two blocks to the bus stop, but is convenient to walk to Pontocho and shopping as well as Gion across the Kamo River. The Fresco grocery store was next door. The room had a nice kitchen and a spacious table for dining. The room was very large and even had a set of bunk beds which we didn’t need. The bed was firm but comfortable. It was in good a quiet location but close to many sites and to the bus system. "

"This was a small apartment instead of a hotel room. Nice, quiet neighborhood, close to transportation and shopping. The only problem is the lack of front desk, I took out trash and was supposed to get another bag but they never left me a replacement, had to improvise with my own shopping bag. I'm not sure I would do another visit with no front desk available. Overall nice experience though. "
