"Stayed one night in garden unit. Room was spacious and clean. Had a game of mini golf. Power went out on island for an hour, and Alison was helpful."

"This stay started off terribly after a 5 hour car ride and ferry crossing. There was no one at the property when we arrived to welcome us. (We may have been sent an email with instructions but I must have missed it.) We called the posted cell number and the call was dropped, then drove out to another property 1 km away and finally found someone to help us. The cabin had been left open and the key on the table! GRRR! The cabin was nicely set up. Somewhat comfortable but not like in the photo....

"The Seaview rooms have been beautifully updated with contemporary design features. Resting in these rooms you look through palm trees to the ocean beyond, lovely!!"

"Loved the property and the outdoor bath was my dream. Bed was comfortable and bedding of good quality. Only thing I would like if I was to stay again a TV so you can watch a movie. "

"Wonderful 2 bedroom property. We enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor patio with water view and listening to and watching the Gahla Cockateels . Near views of wild kangaroos at dusk on the open land just off the main highway prior to American River turn-off. "

"Stokes Bay, and thus the cabins, is isolated. Situated on the cliff face, looking north, one is surrounded by silence and peace, mixed with dozens of kangaroos and even some sheep. Nearby is the only restaurant, sadly open only till 5 pm; so bring your own food or consider a drive to Kingcote (sadly with roo-danger for the nightly return. We stayed three nights to have a holiday… make daytime excursions and enjoy evenings at the cabin. Highly recommended, but not if you expect action!"

"Comfortable, unique and well designed accommodations in a gorgeous physical setting. We walked the large property and encountered beautiful wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and koalas. Yael provided excellent, thorough guidance prior to our stay and Lina met us on site to provide further assistance with warmth and thoughtfulness. The retreat is near Flinders Chase National Park and a number of animal sanctuaries, all well worth a visit. We loved our visit to Ecopia Retreat! "

"If you love an amazing view then this is the place that you want to stay. You could spend hours just watching the changing view during the day. We had a wallaby and her joey feed around the cabin which was lovely. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy either the beautiful beach or to enjoy some fishing. The bed was comfy but the couches could do with an update. We were lucky enough to not have anyone else in the other cabin as there is not enough separation or privacy if there was someone else...

"Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). The bbq area is great and we enjoyed some home cooked steaks so don't be afraid to ask the restaurant to borrow what you need -...

"Fabulous place to stay the apartment is close to the ferry (walking distance) and Penneshaw amenities and looks out over a lovely little marina and the ocean Couldn’t have asked for a better place and the owners were great "
