"Stayed for 2 nights in Oct 2024. The good stuff: Friendly, courteous and welcoming staff. Malaika at front desk was especially efficient and humorous during check-in and enquired about our needs throughout-out stay. Amanda during check-in was also quite helpful. "My time at the Marriott was very nice. The staff and the resport was very clean and accommodating. Food was delicious and the variety was good also. Just very disappointed with the trash on the streets locally and the roads in Guyana to and from the airport and locally. "

"Our stay at the hotel was wonderful until the last day when there was a failure of the air conditioning system. This made the final day at the hotel, very uncomfortable. Period. The service at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs, we would recommend the hotel for others without any reservations "

"Staff was very nice. The new owner really needs to do some required annual maintenance of painting, fixing and painting some furniture. The bathroom could use some upgrades. Closets need painting. Balcony door locks need to be repaired. Their breakfast is below standard. "
