"Overall, the experience was good and enjoyed my staying in this hotel; However, I was surprised on how expensive parking was per night. I was disappointed about the limited menu options in the local hotel but there were more options around the area. Overall, it was a good place to stay with great location to walk around. "

"The Wellington Intercontinental Hotel was impeccable beginning with the concierges meeting us upon our arrival to the maids who took care of us. The hotel was well located in the downtown area which was readily accessible to area points of interest in a very walkable area of downtown. We will definitely stay here when we return th Wellington. "This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Wellington a 2 minute walk from the BeeHive parliament building. The staff were super helpful and friendly upon arrival. We used their valet service and although there was ample car parks we could have used, it was an easy and efficient service to use. Our room was great and the bed very snuggly. We ate in the dining room and had an excellent meal on our second night and once again great service. Would highly recommend this hotel"

"The hotel is within walking distance of the harbor, cultural and historical features, eateries, and (for us) convenient to our congress venue, the Tākina exhibition and convention centre. The breakfast was more than a continental one and the seating encouraged meeting other guests, as did the happy hour with discounted drinks. The reception staff were friendly, thoughtful, and efficient. Love the warmed towel rack in the bathroom; great for drying personal laundry."
