"This is a lovely room, set in tranquil and beautiful setting. The family that owned it were lovely and did whatever they could for us. The log fire was fantasic to sit next to as we ate a meal that competed with the 5 star buxton crescent we were at the night before. "Built in 1868, this is a Majestic Hotel that sits on a hill overlooking the town of Buxton. It has a Victorian appearance when you walk through the revolving doors, but with a luxurious, and comfortable feel in the reception, and lounge, bar area. The staff greet you on arrival with a smile, warm and friendly. "
