"Just got back from 3 nights at the Lakeside Hotel. Beautiful hotel and the scenery Lakeside is amazing. So peaceful and so nice to retreat to after a day in places like Bowness. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. A perfect trip and we will be back."

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t beat the location "
