We have stayed in numerous 5stars across Ireland and the rest of the world and trump doonbeg is definitely one of the best. Check in was done immediately by lovely gents at the gate and the facilities are top notch. Staff are excellent."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The live singer in the bar on Saturday night was brilliant. The bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel and the breakfast was great. Lots of choice. We stayed to do a local parrun at Illmanaugh."

"From the check in staff, to the breakfast staff, and the room cleaning staff, as well as the spa and pool staff were all amazing and very welcoming and eagar to help. It is a beauitful hotel and I have been going here for years. My only area of disappointment was and has always been the bar. The staff serve extremely slowly ordering food takes a very long time. "Beautiful place, quiet and away from everything. Shame the restaurant and bar at the golf club is shut(nothing to do with the village) couple of pubs and restaurants around 10mins drive away. Just nice to get away for a few days helpful and friendly staff very relaxed and safe "

Excellent place for the price, quiet, clean

"B&b, just outside the city center, offers full breakfast for 10 or Continental breakfast for 7 Euros. Free parking, our key was on the table as we entered, self-service. We like that. Only five or six rooms in the whole place. Appeared to be a new place. A short 1 to 2 minutes drive away. And do you have a few pubs and a Wood fire pizza place with a large gathering area in the center. Pizza place also offers smoothies etc for breakfast. Food at the pizza place was good. Breakfast at the place looked good, just wasn't For us. If you want to walk to the pubs, about 10 minute walk. Close to the cliffs. A short drive away. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable, and everything was quiet inside and out. We did not hear our fellow occupants going in or out of the rooms? I would definitely stay here again. "
