They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. "Hotels.com took booking. 2 days later The Accommodation rang me direct to advise they were closing the weekend I was due to stay. Contacted Hotels.com and after several connection issues with an out of UK contact centre was unable to find alternative. Bit hacked off as was advised my refund would take 7-10 days to process. Should have been immediate if out of my control. Found another booking privately. Hotels.com still asking me how my stay was!!!"

"Stayed here between Christmas and New Year for 2 nights. Great position next to the water, we didn't have a river view but still got to enjoy this view over breakfast and in the bar area. Our 4 year old was very happy with the games room. The breakfast was really tasty and the staff were really friendly and helpful. "
