"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. "A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "

We were traveling from city to city by bikes and they had hotel storage for our bikes. "Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "
