The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. "A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "

"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "
