"The stay was pleasant but we were unlucky as room 10 is noisy as it was above the door to the swimming pool which shut with a large thud - so an afternoon nap was not possible. The rest of the stay was excellent with dinner being a highlight with the fabulous Clement who is the absolute the best in the world for cooking a Crêpes Suzette in front of the table - very very special and we’ve had many around the world!!!! "The hotel is extremely well located within the historic centre of Laon. We have stayed there on four separate occasions as we travel through France to or from the Channel Tunnel. The hotel itself is full of historic interest with a somewhat quirky charm. There is ample free parking within easy walking distance and a good choice of restaurants all within a hundred yards of the hotel door. We will be returning there soon."

"The room was perfect for us two bedrooms with beds for 6. In the room the one shower did not work at all, but the other was fine (given the layout it would not be great for a bunch of friends). One reason I booked the hotel was for the pool for my kids, the heating was broken so I was not useable, the games room had pool and table football, both where not in good order, my kids did not mind but they could not be used properly."
