"At check-in we asked about the beach and pool. They said since we booked through Hotels.com (Expedia), both had daily surcharges. I showed them the listing on Hotels.com, which had no surcharges listed, except for dinner. They insisted that beach and pool cost extra. "We had an amazing stay! Checked in a little late in the afternoon and pool was closing, but they made an exception and allowed up to enjoy the pool. Drinks on the pool deck were amazing! The beach club was fabulous and food was great! We were treated like royalty! Truly impressed and will definitely visit again! Scalea has beautiful beaches and now one of our favorite spots! "

"A mixed bag really- On the Plus side were polite and courteous staff,Comfortable and clean room, and lovely pool and location. On the down side was restricted use of pool on first day due to it being cleaned in the middle of afternoon by an electric device, Mediocre food and a balcony that had not been cleaned prior to arrival or during our stay. Has the potential to be terrific but attention to detail needs to be improved to get it to an outstanding level."
