"This property is beautiful and serene and wild. It feels like an oasis compared to the busier side of Barbados. We relaxed immediately and were able to walk along the coast paths and into Bathsheba. One stunning botanical garden is walking distance too. There's a local community centre that opens little street food stands and yep, rum! "The Soco Hotel was a small intimate hotel with a great location! We enjoyed the boardwalk that was directly located behind the hotel along the water. It was very safe, walking distance to restaurants, malls and other beaches. The staff, service and food were exceptional! The online photos were deceiving as the rooms and washrooms were smaller than expected. We found the cleanliness was not to hotel standards. Overall, experience was great! "

"The staff was great. The food was excellent. Could update the doors to the rooms and add an extra lock inside. Flies can be an issue but out of the staffs control. Beach area and access to the other resorts is convenient. "
