"I really liked how peaceful this place was with a great view. The English breakfast was not great, but the Sri Lankan breakfast was very good. And the Jacuzzi is nice to have, but it’s not hot. The room was great that I had with a view of Ella rock. But the bathroom doors were kinda like closet doors and made a big noise when you went in and out the people were very nice and helpful and kind. "98 Acres Resort & Spa is an amazing place, with its beautiful location, fantastic staff taking care of you 24/7, and delicious food. The hotel and rooms were big and very clean, and the pool area is amazing with its view of the mountains. My family and I had a really great time, and we were able to relax and get in zen mode. I can highly recommend this place for everything it has!"

"This is a hotel outside of Ella (25 minutes) a bit misleading as we discovered. The room is a 2 story so you have plenty of room but more than you really need unless you have a big family with you. The room is decorating simple and not updated. The view is great as you’re surrounded by so much foliage but if you plan to hike in Ella and enjoy their many restaurants and take the train from there, do yourself a favor and stay in the actual town, would’ve been much better. "
