"Room and its amenities were great and everything was very clean. Parking was easy. All the staff were super friendly and communication was always quick and easy with them, before and during the stay. We had casually mentioned to one of them that we were on anniversary, and our last day they sent a gift basket for us as a surprise! Would definitely stay here again. "

"We had the two bedroom penthouse suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The staff were incredibly helpful. Our rooms were comfy and spacious. The pool right outside was a hit. The breakfast was amazing. Special thanks to Bernardo for being the best concierge ever. We would definitely stay here again."

"The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. "The experience was great from before we got there to after we left. The staff at Casa da Galeria is amazing! They are super friendly and professional. They will answer any questions you have or help you with anything you need. They were proactive even before we got there. Their breakfast is amazing. You order what you want to eat every day and they come right on time. They even packed us a bag of stuff since we were leaving for the airport early. They have a tiny parking garage for 3 cars but...

"Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming."

"The apartment was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom is nice and big and has a bidet. It also had a washing machine which was nice! You could walk to the restaurants and to the grocery store. The street noise is very loud and you have to keep the windows open because it is very warm inside. Also, the room upstairs is very steep so if you have trouble walking it is hard to use them in the middle of the night to go to the restroom. If you are driving a car, it is a very...

"Claudio our host was responsive and very helpful. Excellent customer service and location was perfect and centralized to entire part of the island. There is a free parking lot to park overnight north of the property. About .70 euro per hour if parking on street . Place was spacious with adequate amenities. Would definetly come back again. "

"Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). "

"Had a great five night stay. At check in we were greeted by Elsa and Alexandra at the reception desk. Both of these ladies are true ambassadors of the hotel and the island. They were so pleasant, informative and willing to go out of their way to ensure we were made aware of all important things like tours, car rental, in house needs, restaurants, shopping, etc. It was a great way to start our visit. Our room was very good, large and quiet despite overlooking the harbour. The room and the entire hotel is spotless. Staff are constantly cleaning all areas of the facility. The breakfast area is very well managed with staff constantly clearing and cleaning tables and replenishing food. As for the staff in the hotel, there wasn’t one who didn’t greet us with pleasantries. It really appeared as though they all enjoyed their jobs and were dedicated to ensuring the guests were treated with respect. Amenities like a constant supply of bottled water, coffee supplies, daily cleaning, plush towels, robes, etc. were all part of an excellent stay. I would highly recommend the Hotel and would most definitely stay there again should we return. "
