"Absolutely terrific stay, just loved it. We stayed for one night while driving through France. The hotel looks just like the photos, it is charming and comfortable. I recommend getting the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and taking it to the garden or side balcony. This was a highlight of the trip. "

We said this was not an option, the manager said tough luck.. no discussion, no refund, his attitude was terrible. We left 65 euros out of pocket. "We arrived quite late and out of season, so couldn’t really make the most of the location, gardens etc. The restaurant was closed which was disappointing as we didn’t know beforehand. But with the right weather the location and view from the restaurant would be lovely . The room was clean comfy and warm with a modern bathroom. We had a dog with us and the room opened onto the garden so it was really handy. "

We were the only guests staying that evening so the evening meal menu was limited to a few choices. However, when what was on offer didn't suit all of our party, Alex went out to buy in food to meet our dietary needs in order that we didn't have to drive back out to the local village to eat. "The entrance is on a quaint little square with a bunch of little streets coming in at odd angles. The hotel backs up on the river, and the breakfast room has an attractive view down the river to an old bridge, and up the river to the mountains. The stairs were attractive, so I didn't bother with elevator."
