Despite the affordable price, he got a clean, warm room equipped with a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The TV even allowed him to watch YouTube, which was incredibly convenient. "This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. "My family and I had a wonderful holiday staying at Riga Lux apartments. We decided to spend the holidays in Riga this year as we gathered our family from the UK, KSA to be with our son in Riga were he is going to school. We were very pleased with the apartment as it allowed us to stay in a home environment for Christmas."

"Very hot days when we were there. Some fans had been great in the apartment. The entrance is pretty dark in the night so little hard for elderly people to see the stairs. There is some noise from the street in the night and early mornings. "

"Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations)."

"Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

"The whole experience was amazing from start to finish! The room was lovely and warm! Breakfast was delicious and the location for me anyways was fantastic with an outlet and supermarket literally less then 5 mins walk and old Riga about 20 mins walk over the bridge.. no complaints from me. My one and only thing I would say is the hairdryer wasnt working continuously but it isn't enough to drop the score."
