"Stayed in the log style cabins. Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Quiet and tranquil with lovely surroundings. I was very impressed with the accommodation and grounds. There is limited parking. We had a dedicated parking spot for our cabin and someone on the 2nd night decided to park their car there for the last few nights of our stay. "Excellent cottage, clean,comfortable and homely, many people would be upset because of lack of phone signal or internet but made it for me real peace and quiet, Excellent kitchen is well equipped with pots pans,cutlery, drink making facilities, and the views from the cottage are outstanding. "

"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

"Booked last minute to take the children to Alton Towers and the cottage was perfect 5 minutes to the park and Everything you need for your stay towels and bedding provided and central heating and well equipped kitchen with everything you need Definitely stay again if we re visit the area"

"Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

Wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

"Lovely, lovely hotel. Very wa as it snowed outside. You could put the heating up to 30°C which is amazing, felt lovely and toasty. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet, filled me up well into lunch. Sauna fantastic. Went everyday of my stay. Location, it's close to an Aldi and a large Tesco."
