"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. "It is a very nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is second to none and there is plenty of parking. Close to the M6. Bed was very comfortable. The only thing i have some criticism is that the TV is way too small. You had to sit on the end of the bed to watch it. WiFi reception was very hit and miss, but propably accepted due the location of the property."

"The lovely Magdalena (Mags) on reception was very welcoming offering a glass of champagne whilst checking in. She upgraded our room, helped with our bags and showed us round the room. The room was beautiful with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. Toiletries were very nice. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there.
