The valet staff are kind, but the front desk staff are a bit indifferent. If you expect a Japanese five-star hotel, you may find it quite different. The bathroom is clean, but the bath towels are somewhat old. The area is safe, with no beggars around. It is close to Khan Market and the station, which is on the Purple Line, allowing direct access to Humayun’s Tomb and Red Fort without transfers, making it very convenient.

i feel the property and staff are a bit dated .the hotel as clean as it appears to be is in need of a major renovation . it’s deco charm needs to be updated .. I booked three nights but could not stay the third night … My choice to move was a sound choice based on two full nights.. The price was fair and If you are looking for a simple place to stay all aok. If you are looking for something cleaner and more modern there are other choices that would reflect a seasoned travelers needs and amenities ..

The Ambassador is rated a 5-star hotel but it is closer to a 3.5 star. It's an old worn property, and the room decor is spartan at best. One shining spot however is the breakfast buffet which includes good variety and quality of dishes.
