"We enjoyed the stay very much. All staff was excellent at check in, the bar and the restaurant…food was excellent! The condition of the room we stayed in could use some sprucing up. It’s a historic building, so it being “old” is understood going into it, but there was ceiling and floor damage, walls could use repainting in many spots and area rugs could use replacing or deep clean. That said, the room was clean, no bad odors, and we did overall enjoy the stay. Wish they had a safe in the room,...

Continental breakfast (eggs, saussage, cereal, fruit, waffles) is good & included w/stay but ha same offerings daily...would be nice to have couple things that change if staying longer. Great location w/easy walkable access to alot of areas in the downtown & only ~10 min walk to SCAD The Hive for visiting college kid attending school. Would stay again & recommend hotel. "We absolutely had the best stay at Hotel Bardo! It is a gorgeous property in the best location right on Forsyth Park. We also were easily able to walk to City Market and the riverfront. The service, the rooms, the staff, and the property is 10/10! We also ate at Saint Bibiana, which was one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you Hotel Bardo for an amazing weekend! Beautiful, classy, and convenient!

"Location, location, location! Everything we wanted to do on this trip was within a block radius! We did walk to the river one night (1 mile), but I was so delighted to find restaurants, historic home tours, a book store, and a tea room in the immediate vicinity. We utilized the valet service, and every worker we interacted with was very nice. I wasn’t expecting daily housekeeping service, but we arrived after our day’s activities to find our bed made and fresh towels laid out. "
