Let me preface this review by acknowledging that our arrival was shortly after the city had flooded, so understanding the weather may have factored into our review. Our flight was delayed so we arrived quite late and they accommodated late check-in which we appreciated. However, shortly after check-in we realized how outdated the hotel was. The property just seemed a bit dingy and was musty (likely due to the rain) including the bedding. The pillows smelled of mildew and there appeared to be mold on the ceilings. The room itself was "clean" enough but it didn't appear that they vacuumed or swept well as there was so much hair everywhere including the body soap dispenser. And I'm not talking about on the bottle, I'm talking about a hair IN the spout. Very bizzare...either way, we weren't staying in the room much so brushed it off. Location was good as right near the main strip area, but far enough away from the craziness. Breakfast was included and did the go, nothing too exciting but had different options on a daily basis. Overall, our stay was fine but had some flaws.

The staff where very helpful and pleasant, the hotel was been modernised when we visited and the hotel had only reopened in the past couple of months. The breakfast was good but could be improved with more western choices. The front desk girls were a joy always smiling and ready to help. Location couldn’t of been better just a short 3 minutes into the old town.

Really charming boutique hotel but needs few improvements. We had a joining rooms. In our room there was a leak behind the toilet and in our son’s room the A/C unit on the wall next to the door was leaking. He had to put towel on the floor or have the unit turned off. Not ideal considering heat and humidity. Otherwise really nice hotel. Very close to the shopping and bars and restaurants but quiet. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Each room had two big umbrellas to borrow. Really good idea during raining season. Breakfast not as good as other hotels we stayed in during our trip but still good.

Lovely Boutique Hotel
Great boutique hotel located close to the old town centre, yet far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. Staff are first class and can’t do enough. Hotel has loads of charm and could be viewed as slightly dated but we thought it provided character. The only downside is the pool is minimalistic and in the shade but again, that was fine with us but it might not suit everyone.

Lantana hotel has a wonderful location on the riverside a quick walk from old town, but still quiet and relaxing. The room was well appointed and comfortable, especially good AC for a Vietnamese heatwave. The airport shuttle was also convenient and the free breakfast had nice variety of dishes to start your day. The main highlight was all the hotel staff; always attentive and personable- greeting us and offering assistance and tips for our trip. Would absolutely recommend staying here when in Hoi Ann.
