"I asked for a room with a bath and received a free upgrade to stay in one of the cottages and it was beautiful. What a great space and view of the Loch. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious as always."

"We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. Topped off by a stunning location, well worth a stop. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and all the staff were so kind to us. Thank you. "

"Lovely hotel and pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean and it was wonderful to sit and have a drink by the open fire. The bar is 24hours for residents and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again."

"Have just had a wonderful 2 night stay. The outside is magnificent, but at night it has such a magical feel to it. We had dinner both nights in the bar area and it was idyllic and had a cosy feel to it. The fireplace was one of my favourite things, I have a great love of old decor and I adored the mix of old and new decor. "A great country inn. Exactly what I was looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "

"Stayed at hotel for 2 nights to visit friends. Our hosts Pete and Elliot went out their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would be more than happy to recommend and would definitely book again. Room spotless and breakfast delicious. "

"Owners were lovely, the bar had great cask ale and a very welcoming relaxed vibe. Food looked really good, but the property is a bit tired. Bedroom super clean and comfortable. Overall great value."

"Lovely cosy village pub. Nice if small bedroom but with en-suite. Very clean, good evening meal (for guests only) and good breakfast. Friendly owners Mark and Audrey are moving but the pub is staying open with new people."
