"We had four people staying at this place for two days. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They assisted us with check-in and provided a simple yet complete breakfast with everything we needed.
We arrived very late on the first day—almost midnight—after a 6-hour drive from New Jersey. We didn’t realize the check-in time was between 3 PM and 8 PM, but we called them a few times to make sure we could still get the keys. As promised, we were able to access our room and had a great night.
Overall, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay."
"Perfect! Clean, quiet rooms, attentive and friendly staff. View of the lake from our room. Easy walk down to the private beach. Kayaks, shuffleboard, fire rings with everything you need to make a fire. Couldn’t be happier."
"If you consider prime location, large rooms with waterfront balconies, free parking, two outdoor pools with free chairs and umbrellas, free various waterfront activities and weekly morning pool and group programs, the price appears way more reasonable and acceptable"
"Our stay at Prescott House was a delight. The house is unique, cozy, and welcoming! The onsite manager was friendly and available, and we had everything we needed. The large bathrooms are shared, but the doors can be locked for quick showers, and there are also a few private half-baths (and one private shower) scattered throughout the building. Our room was a little bit musty and had not been updated like some of the other rooms, but it was clean and very affordable and met all our needs. We appreciated the coffee station and porches, the window a/c unit for the hot nights, the opportunity to meet other guests, and the fascinating history of the house. I would be glad to return. Thank you!"
