"Quite simply the nicest and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. We arrived early and they very kindly let us in to our room. The seafront location is brilliant, it is amazing to sit and watch the surfers from the terrace bar and the food in the restaurant was very good indeed. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the parking easy and convenient. We are already looking forward to coming again."

"This is a majestic old (but updated) hotel with excellent service. They gave us a tour of the facility and explained all the available services. The whirlpool, sauna, and steam room were all included in the price of the room. They even upgraded our room to ocean view! What incredible service at an incredible hotel. "

"A good and comfortable bed, a large room with shared balcony, and a large bathroom are positives for this property. On the negative side, the shower was hand-held, with half glass door so the floor will get wet. The young woman behind the front desk at check-in had an attitude, and when I asked about a room on the ground floor instead of walking up the rounded stairway - the hotel was empty, (I explained I had an issue with stairs, she literally laughed at me). "Hotel was absolutely amazing. The only caveat was there was no room service after 10pm - not even for a beverage if you wanted one. No vending machines, no staff had access to any beverages. Had to walk outside in the freezing cold to the hotel next. door to ask their lobby if they had an orange juice. "
