"Really nice period Inn with great staff and good honest meals. This IS a historic Inn so do not expect modern amenities. The parking is great and we really enjoyed our stay. Do yourself a favour and ignore the generic motels when next travelling in this area. "

"Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. The room was massive clean and the bed very comfortable. It was Sunday night and there was a painter in the corridor decorating, but quiet and no bother. Room had all the expected; toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, large tv and even a trouser press. We were up and out at 0600 the next morning to race in a local triathlon at Belvoir Castle, night porter was cheerful and polite as we left. It’s easy to find, just off the motorway, has a pub only a 2min drive away for food and Grantham and Belvoir Castle close by. VFM this has to be one of the best one night stops I’ve had in a hotel, it was less than £60 on hotels.com and I don’t have anything negative to say. Will definitely use again when I’m in the area. "

The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. "A warm welcome at reception. On a very hot day it was wonderful to step into my room and find a fan on. All staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless and had everything I needed. The large bed was very comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast, both were very tasty. The dinner menu had an excellent selection of food. Free parking close to my room was very welcome. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality."

"Beautiful accomodation and accessibility. I really could not, or want to, be critical of anything with our stay. The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay."
