Our room was lovely with a huge bed and a deep free standing bath. Breakfast was great…… what’s not to like? We will definitely stay here again👍👍

The William Cecil offers a fabulous stay within Stamford right on the edge of the Burleigh estate. The hotel itself is a very old building that has been transformed into a comfortable stay location for guests and events alike. The staff could not be more accommodating to the needs of their guests, to the extent where the manager lent my wife his own personal umbrella to head into town during a rain shower. Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely return again should we visit Stamford onceoree in the future
