"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. "Hotel generally fine, though we had a couple of negatives. 1- we chose the hotel in large part to make use of spa facilities, only to find that restricted hours in the holiday season meant this was not useable for us. 2- our room was part of an adjoining pair. At night a very loud couple of young men opened their adjoining door and continued being noisy. Thankfully, when I opened our door and asked them nicely if they could keep it down a bit, they did."

"This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. "

"A beautiful property to stay at, I got the room I love to stay in. Shirley, Orapin and Antonia were so lovely at breakfast, we came late unfortunately but we were welcomed in and really looked after. The breakfast was beautiful and it was so nice and quiet mid week. "

"I didn’t sleep well. The Bed was too hard for me & the pillows were flat & hard too. The Breakfast waitress was not very friendly. First thing she did before seating us was to check her watch. It was just 0910 but we felt uncomfortable & rushed. The minute we had served ourselves hot food it was taken away, so no chance of seconds had we wanted it. "
