"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"It was the best place I’ve stayed at in Peterborough so far. Clean, nice, and central. Only criticisms are the shower door was broken/not attached properly ( I expect this was a previous resident and hasn’t been noticed yet) and that the double bed was 2 singles with a double sheet over it, so I kept waking up falling down the middle! But with that said, it was a decent place and I will likely return. "

"There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it. Someone else parked in our designated space on our final night...

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...
