"We had a lovely stay in Selvista! The location was perfect, close to so many great activities on Ometepe. The property itself is beautiful, with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was also really good, we felt well taken care of the whole time. Definitely a spot we’d recommend to anyone visiting the island!"

"We had a nice stay overall. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. There wasn't any hot water, but that was only an issue with showering. But not having hot water was pretty common throughout Nicaragua."

We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. "There are so many great things to say about this hotel. Beginning with the staff, which is almost always the most important part of a hotel, they were all great. Very professional and accommodating. They were always there when we needed them. The food was excellent. Every meal was a great experience. Our compliments to the chef! The building and grounds were so nice. Everything looked brand new, and was very well maintained. The pool was really nice. We stayed in the Magnolia suite. As a person who travels a lot, this room is way up on the list. Very spacious. It has a large secluded balcony with lounge chairs, recliners, a fully stocked mini bar (reasonably priced), and jacuzzi. The property is a 5min drive or short walk to restaurants and the boats that go to the isletas. It is also only about 15min to downtown Granada. Overall, we could not be more pleased with our stay. The weather wasn't great all the time. But, if we were locked in this hotel for our entire stay we would have still had a great vacation. We will be back..."
