"A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. "The Night potter wasn't helpful. Didn't give proper directions to get to the room. We arrived by 8 pm but the room wasn't ready which was okay as the lady receptionist was nice. She advised us the night potter would make up our room. We arrived later and check in with him. He just gave us the keys, didn't tell us where the room was. "Marriott standards are not what they use to be. The hotel, and facilities are very good, however, our room was far too hot, and there was no thermostat to adjust … The fridge didn’t work, and the general condition of the room could best be described as tired… We had to open the sliding patio door to keep the room temperature down, not ideal by a lake and open to all….. Not sure how their billing system works, my bank account was charged on the first night for some extras..even the reception...

"Nice friendly pub. Room was basic but clean with a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was a bit disorganised as there was no menu as such and it was difficult to find out what was available. Good if you like a full English breakfast but otherwise poor. "

"Nice and simple. Room was simple with a kettle and Yorkshire tea available. Bathroom was spacious and the water was a good pressure and hot! The bed is firm so was good for the 2 nights. I prefer more support but that’s personal taste for you."
