"We where disappointed to say the least with the condition of the property and very disappointed with the fact it was a basement apartment ( which was never mentioned) on arrival we found it dirty and dark . We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. "Stayed for one night for a catch up with friends and a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Very well located to the outlet stores and also to the centre of Chester for food and drinks in the evening. The property was good value for a one night stay, not the comfiest place we've stayed but had everything we needed for the night. "The location is a little tricky so do not rely on Google maps. It is on a very pretty canal and the breakfast looks out over this also. It was hard to control the temperature in the room, but given the time of year it was fine."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool - John Lennon Airport. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, everything was clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and polite, but also professional. We also loved the setting of being the old airport and control tower. All in all it was a great experience. We will definitely be back."

"Lovely hotel and really can’t fault it. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable and a variety of soft/hot drinks and snacks available at no extra cost. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that. Ate in the restaurant one night and had a great meal - again staff very attentive and friendly. Close to the centre, shops and river. Only word of warning would be do not park at their recommended car park in Pepper Street, it’s a dreadful car park with tiny spaces and barely enough room to drive past the parked cars. We didn’t want to risk leaving our car there and it being damaged so we parked at Little Roodee car park about 15 minutes walk away which was really good. I told the reception staff that the hotel should not be recommending the car park as it’s so bad. "

"Don’t be put off by the entrance and way in the lifts are not very user friendly 2 diff ones needed but room was absolutely fine very clean and a nice modern bathroom comfy bed all that is required for a sleep over . I don’t do breakfast too early but there was an excellent choice . So that’s a bonus for a long day ahead . "
