"So tired upon arrival, quick and professional making sure I know where my room is and closest parking. Best of all, offers a late check out when requested. Grounds are extremely lit with cameras, I feel very safe there. The price can’t be beat, rooms are clean and well maintained. I stay in the area once a week and this is my best value for sure, I’ve tried a few and will stick with this location. "

"I've been visiting the Ranch for the last several years as a stop while going to or from Northern California (I live in Los Angeles); the gift shop is my favorite - I've purchased several pajama bottoms there. The bakery is to die for excellent. As I type this, I am staying overnight for the first time. I dined in the restaurant - the food was outstanding. The room is charming and cozy. The shower is PERFECT. I'll be back. that's for sure."

"We stayed in a clean, remodeled room. It had everything needed for a traveler’s overnight stay. As another reviewer commented, there were several cats on the grounds, but they didn’t make any noise. The only drawback was the noisy and bright automatic fan/light in the bathroom that turned on every time approached. We would’ve liked to be able to override it so it didn’t turn on when we got up in the middle of the night. "

"This is a very aged, yet still serviceable roadside motel. It was clean, no bugs. Coffee, service and refrigerator in the room. Coffee was typical nothing great. The staff were friendly and professional. That’s the upside. The downside was no microwave in the room. "I feel this hotel is one of the better options to stay along the I-5 corridor nice halfway spot between Sacramento and Ojai in the middle of a U-Haul move. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
