"The good: In general terms, this hotel was comfortable, clean and pleasant, with a nicely decorated if a little tired and slightly small, room. "This is a great small hotel. Staff are friendly and clear about current regulations. The room we had was small but clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean. We like to have the windows open and this was possible although there was some noise from traffic. The pool looked very inviting although we didn’t stay long enough to use. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open for evening meals when we were there but the menu looked good. "

"Outside is a takeaway with motorbike deliveries, no wall paper on the walls in the hallways (we were told it was being decorated), no real door to the toilet/shower. Didn’t realise it was 2-star but it was clean and functional, host was pleasant. Lack of aircon plus the outside noise meant we simply didn’t sleep (it was August) so without aircon was always going to be a challenge. "

"Les propriétaires sont très sympas et bienveillants. Les chambres sont très propres et décorées avec beaucoup de gout. Le cadre est très confortable et pratique (cuisine à disposition pour réchauffer son plat, utiliser le frigo, ..) La cerise sur le gâteau c'est la piscine. Je recommande les yeux fermés. "

"Séjour exceptionnel à tous les niveaux ! Les hôtes sont très chaleureux et accueillants. Chaque chambre a été décorée avec goût et détient un charme fou. La literie est top et tout est très calme et bien isolé. Le petit dej fait maison est excellent, varié et avec plein de petites attentions. "A lovely warm welcome awaited us at The France Hotel. The room was great, very comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was generous and served in a nice breakfast room. Typical continental breakfast, and all good quality. The hotel is in a pedestrian area, but the underground parking La Breche is very convenient, and only a couple of minutes walk away. Great stay, thank you very much."
