The restaurant staff great. Taj cape town has become my new fav hotel. I will absolutely recommend it and will definitely stay there again on my return to cape town. "

"Lovely hotel, beautiful lobby bar area. Plesant patio garden where you could eat, drink or chill. We had the Durban suite 2047, which was spacious and luxurious. However situated at the side and back of hotel. Small balcony with poor patio furniture. With no cushions. So not encouraged to sit out there. We ate in the restaurant the food was good. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Bay Hotel. The staff excelled. Our one grip would be the breakfast arrangements which seem in disarray. Tables left uncleared ready for new guest to eat and don’t expect to be offered coffee or tea promptly. We didn’t bother on the second day and ate out. Couldn’t quite work out why there wasn’t a self service station for hot drinks. However this would not deter us from staying again the hotel is in a superb position ."

"They were not prepared for me in the morning when I arrived. The advertisement stated that the hotel had an airport shuttle which is false. I had to catch a cab to the hotel from the airport. If I would have known there was not an airport shuttle. I would have not picked that hotel. I was overchareged for the breakfast and the airport shuttle. "
