"Overall stay was excellent. We had a little speed bump at the beginning when our luggage was misplaced and it took almost 2 hours to find them. It is an excellent facility and very clean. The terrace was very nice."

"Catalonia Magdalenes was a lovely property. It was located close to metro so moving about the city was easy. The breakfast was great. The only downside was it was located down an alley and a taxi driver would not drive to the front door to drop us off with our bags. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but he only downside to my stay. The staff at the hotel were all wonderful and so helpful."

"This is our second time staying at Hotel Colon and it continues to amaze. It’s been upgraded since our last stay so it’s even better. The location can’t be beat and staff very friendly and helpful. It rained while we’re there and it’s such a great touch that they would even lend you an umbrella to use so you can stay dry. Definitely worth staying there every time we’re in Barcelona especially with the beautiful cathedral view. A in our book. "

"An amazing hotel, staff were so helpful. Room was amazing and had a warm welcome when arriving for our honeymoon. The only downside was having to book the spa and only being allowed to use it for 30 mins a day. Wouldn’t put us off from returning though! "

"The rooms were big, the roof top terrace is great for drinks and tapas, the pool is disappointing as it’s only around 2ft deep so more of a plunge pool not a swim pool. Good location, we got stuck in the lift for half an hour and tbh it was horrific especially as I’m claustrophobic and it was very hot in there."
