"This hotel is off of a somewhat busy street but we don’t hear much noise. We stayed in an executive room. It was very comfortable. The bed is king size, there’s ample storage space. The shower is a walk in shower and the toilet is in a separate compartment. The sink is within the room but it all works out. There is a mini fridge and an electrical kettle.We had a balcony but it isn’t very spacious. There is AC and elevators. The staff are amazing! They have been very helpful For dining...

"The location was amazing. Incredibly easy to walk (or take a metro, but we chose to walk) to pretty much everywhere we wanted to be in the city. Only things I would change: 1) Mattresses weren't the most comfortable. Not horrible, but could be better. 2) More dishwasher detergent (only two tablets were provided). But we had a great time and we would absolutely stay here in the future!"

"A good part of town for transport and shopping if you want. Breakfast is in the sister hotel next door but it’s just like it being in the same hotel because of its close proximity. The hotel has a happy hour when wine and drinks are available to help yourself to from taps in the wall. I’d stay at the hotel again and would recommend it."

"First time in Barcelona and clearly made the right choice to stay at Almanac! The hotel and the staff were amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and willing to help with directions, transportation etc. The room was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and had many modern amenities. I would highly recommend the Almanac and will be staying at Almanac on my next trip to Barcelona! "

" Awesome location! Staff were not super friendly like the H10 in Venice. I felt like a disruption at check in and the guy wouldnt even call us a cab at check out! Told us to walk down a few blocks with our luggage and find one! Rude! Luckily there was one pulling in as we walked out. Our room was beautiful and very comfy. Nice pillows from soft to firm. We had an out door " jacuzzi" which is more like a giant bath tub with soft jets and not much privacy. Overall nice stay."

Excellent Hotel in an Excellent Location

"The hotel was very nice and modern and located in a perfect area for exploring the city. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the plaza and the views at sunset were amazing. The room itself was nice, relatively standard. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially everyone at the front desk. They did a great job cleaning the room each day. My only complaint is the bathroom. There is one sliding door for both the shower and toilet and it was extremely difficult to close completely inside either one and impossible to close both simultaneously. I swear designers come up with the weirdest and worst ideas for hotel bathroom doors. Just throw a normal door on there. Anyway, everything else about the hotel, room, staff, location, etc. was amazing and we enjoyed our stay (and room service on our final morning)."
