"Staff were the best part of this short break. They couldnt be anymore helpful. The room itself was pretty small with the thinest wardrobe i have ever seen. Hotel was in excellent order and well located. Car park next door was handy as £20 a day to park at your hotel is steep. Also paying £25 for a dog each day needs to be taken into account. "

"We arrived in the dark after a trip to Rosemoor Glow and there was very little signposting that we could see to reception and then to our room when we eventually hit checked in. Meal in the restaurant was excellent although service if drinks was slow and mains came literally as soon as last mouthful of starter taken and plates hadn’t been cleared. Lovely peaceful sleep and to wake up the next morning to see the place in dayslight was beautiful. Breakfast was average - service good . Went to use...

"Very nicely appointed bedroom. The bathroom was very nice, clean and looked brand new. A sofa in the room meang that we could watch TV without having to sit on the bed. We had dinner at Carriages next door and this was very good quality. Lots of parking around the hotel. An excellent gym with good quality, new equipment. Overall an excellent stay even though we only stayed one night en route to the South West"

"The hotel is in a great location for the city centre, the staff were lovely and the downstairs areas are well-presented. The room itself wasn't huge but had a nice view over the square. It had all the essentials and the bathroom was modern. The decor was a little odd - Bright orange paint and no headboard or pictures. It just felt a little unfinished. Overall though we'd consider staying again."
