"It is a 5-star feeling, with a feeling of space, mindful of this is Zanzibar and not Hilton in the Western world. You feel there is a strong western management teams that ensure all the little things that you appreciate with a personal touch and connection. Small-medium size resort placed a bit away (1 hour) from tourist centers like Zanzibar city and North main beaches. Yes, the beach is not good, but there is a great one 5 min away connected with the hotel. But you get a feel of space and especially Vladislava and Adella have made the perfect setting for one of the best experiences. You get a feeling of new and clean rooms and a great little resort, amazing restaurant, fantastic pool area and special evening events. Very relaxing feeling all the way - the opposite of Zanzibar Stone Town and North coast. Good value for money compared to other hotels we have seen. You want to top-up for all-inclusive for the days you are not out of the hotel. 80$ and 50$ (non-alco) pp. Not cheap, but worth it. Yes, we strongly recommend this resort/hotel. We were here as a family of 5 in two rooms."

The hospitality of the staff in all areas, the open lay out of the property and proximity of dining to the ocean, the clean and beautiful rooms, and the quality and variety of food options at the breakfast buffet. "Overall, a very nice stay. It is conveniently located in Stone Town and for catching day trips out to Prison Island. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food and bar options plentiful. The rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool area is quite nice. "

"We had amazing 9 days staying in the Fruit & Spice Well nes Resort. Hotel is very nicely located and is neighbouring beautiful sandy beach. We had stayed in Superior Junior Suite for the first 5 days and each of them has adjacent small sandy area with sunbeds, umbrella and amazing ocean view (rocky shore so you cannot enter the sea). As there were only 4 sunbeds most of the time it was like a private area only for our couple. The food at restaurant was delicious and the choice would satify most people both for breakfast and dinner. There were bars at the lobby, at the pool and on the beach providing soft and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. The staff was very kind, friendly (reception, restaurants, pool, all) very responsive and helpful (not offensive). I would like to especially mention Ramson our jungle villa buttler (second part of our stay was in jungle villa) who was absolutely exceptional, proactively helping us with anything we needed, but at the same time respecting our privacy. Thank you Ramson! Sumarizing we loved our stay. One thing we would recommend to the management is to ensure that access to the sea from jungle villas is reconstructed ASAP."

"From our first arrival we were greeted with cool towels and warm smiles. The staff is amazing!! Esther at the front desk was very accommodating on our last day- our flight wasn't until late at night so got a lovely extra late check out. The food each day was prepared fresh and most delicious! Our room was the honeymoon suite which including a private pool and the maintenance guy always made sure to clean our pool as well. Having beach access from our room was a great plus because we were in the ocean/beach a lot! This place has not seen the last of us!!!"
