"The hotel is only about 2 minutes walk from North Acton metro station so incredibly convenient. There are a number of take away establishments en route so it is very convenient. The property itself looks new and the room was pristine and spacious. The staff were warm and friendly and the facilities were excellent. This is the nicest budget hotel I've stayed in London, which is generally so over priced. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in London."

"Lovely little boutique hotel. Staff were helpful and everything was clean. Couple of negative things. 1. The walls in the rooms look like they are in the middle of a renovation. Cracks and dry wall patches galore. Apparently, according to the front desk it’s Croatian Chic. But, it just looks like they were too lazy to finish or ran out of money. 2. The design of the shower stall is extremely poor with water pouring under the shower door into the rest of the bathroom. "

"We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It is still comfortable & convenient for us having travelled from the Midlands however in view of the very high price to stay in the hotel I don't think the hotel is as good as it used to be. The room is adequate but the amenities like the soap,shower gel etc are average at best. "I feel like I'm nitpicking because the employee's were wonderful and the premises were spotless. They couldn't do more for us or be more helpful, but: The only place to put clothes for 3 people was closet with a couple shelves. Had to ask for hangers, there were 2. Bedroom had 2 nightstands with 2 small drawers in each. There was no place to put suitcases. We were only given one door card and one small bar of soap. Once you learned how to use the buses and tube with the citymapper app...

"It is close to the ovo arena and you can just hop on a bus and it’s about 25minites. The rooms are small but have enough space if you’re there for just the night or two. You can hear other rooms toilet going off and the drains are connected so the smell travels into your room as well. The breakfast is good. And staff are very polite however if you get there after 11 after an event you will have to wait for someone to turn up and give you your key back. "

"I enjoyed my overnight stay at Village Watford. It was very accessible from the main roads which is why I booked it in the first place. Check in was good - although there was some confusion regarding check in time. I had been told via prior correspondence that I could check out at 12 but 11 was on the booking - which made for a slightly uncomfortable conversation. Facilities were great! Good choice on menu for the evening and great buffet breakfast. Bed was comfortable and warm on what was a very cold night. Only issue was that I did not have any water when I went to have a shower in the evening. Not a drop - cold or hot - so couldn't brush teeth or shower. It was working in the morning though. Would be helpful to understand why this happened as it wasn't at a bust "shower" time like in the morning. All in all a great stay though!!"

"Very pleasantly surprised by my stay here! Lovely staff on check-in, think his name was Eric. The room was very comfortable and clean, lovely dove products in the bathroom and great shower. Only stayed one night but wouldn't hesitate to book again! "
