"Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality. "

"Our stay at the seven was fantastic. The service was great and the room was lovely. The only thing that would have improved it was a bigger bed. Being used to a king size at home, the double felt quite small. Other than that though the stay was faultless and we would definitely return. "

"The room was clean and tidy & had everything we needed. It would have been helpful we’d been advised that there was an engagement party & live band playing that night as we were staying as we were running the Delamere Forest Marathon the next morning and hoping for an early night as we had an early start. As the rooms were directly above the music there was no chance of this! The music did stop just after 11pm so not too bad! "

"Our stay was amazing we took the grandchildren as we went to Reindeer lodge on the Saturday. The hostess left everything you might need and the horse came across to see us every day which the girls loved. There was only one fault which didn't affect our stay one of the keys to the french window didnt work and i forgot to let them know as it wasnt a problem because we just used the front door .We would definitely come back here again. "

"Lovely hotel helpful friendly staff breakfast was nice all you needed available used the pool and jacuzzi sauna and steam room our room was nice and big with a balcony looking onto the canal the shopping town centre is a few minutes walk as is the cathedral worth a visit we would stay here again my only complaint is we had to pay extra £36:00 pounds for parking!!!"

"We stayed in the suite which was just perfect. Spacious with excellent furnishings. Idea for a longer stay for visiting Chester. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order along with cereals, pastries and fruit. Definitely recommend "

"We were made to feei special from the moment we arrived. The staff throughout the castle were amazing. Always there to help us. The rooms were so comfortable and everything was high standards. The food we had was lovely. The breakfast we had included continental and cooked food. All gorgeous. I really cant fault this gorgeous place. I hope to return"
