"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view. "Convenient location, large enough rooms and bathroom. Wasn’t enamoured with climbing into bath for a shower. If there was a bathroom with a shower I might ask for it next time. Helpful staff but everything else is an extra cost even daily room cleaning which will be 40 Euros. It was quiet except for the Saturday night. "

"Pleasant and efficient check-in. Breakfast -Plenty of choice but food area small to accommodate the food and the clientele. Lift for upto 5 people. Side exit on upper floors with push doors. "This is a beautifully unique property. Well equipped bedroom in a wonderfully characterful building. We were on the top floor with views of the cathedral. The stairs are great exercise too!"

"So far so good. Proprietor is very nice and helpful. We have never traveled to France before so did not know customs. He has been very considerate! We have had a wonderful experience so far. We have checked out the castle of tapestry and the statues of David Angers, plus wandered around and found a small antique shop."

"very clean, modern spacious room, staff friendly, bar was good with reasonable prices. We arrived on a Saturday and the restaurant was shut! which was a shame as it looked nice and the menu looked good. Would recommend this hotel and we hope to return "
