"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. "Modern, very comfortable accommodation. Pleasant reception staff. Really handy location very close to railway station and city centre. Very nice breakfast room with a good choice of continental breakfast items, beautifully laid out. Only downside was very limited choice of cooked food - only sausages and (poorish) scrambled eggs."

"So far so good. Proprietor is very nice and helpful. We have never traveled to France before so did not know customs. He has been very considerate! We have had a wonderful experience so far. We have checked out the castle of tapestry and the statues of David Angers, plus wandered around and found a small antique shop."

"very clean, modern spacious room, staff friendly, bar was good with reasonable prices. We arrived on a Saturday and the restaurant was shut! which was a shame as it looked nice and the menu looked good. Would recommend this hotel and we hope to return "

"Absolutely amazing and much cheaper than an equivalent hotel in the UK. Bedroom was huge and spotless. It was a super king double, with lovely views over the countryside. The continental breakfast was superb. There is no kettle in the room, but you do have access to a kettle outside, so bring your own tea and coffee."
