"This was quite frankly the worst hotel stay we have had. Not because the room was poor, but because we never saw the owner. We were given a code and let ouselves in. We heard the odd sound which indicated we were not alone - quite spooky really. The owner responded to our call but merely to give instructions - nothing more. "A beautiful family run small château set in park like gardens. We had a large bedroom overlooking the gardens. Throughout the château was beautifully furnished and the service was attentive and friendly. Close to Rennes and also an ideal location for day excursions to Le Mont Saint Michel or Angers and many other noteworthy places. "

"Warm welcome from proprietors and their sweet dog. Room was spacious and well-maintained. Access to a full kitchen to make your own meals. Good breakfast that included home-made OJ, yogurt and pound cake with a selection of breads and jams. Great suggestion for local hiking routes and attractions. Would definitely recommend."

"Very nice hotel. It was clean, quiet, and the room set up was nice with the 2 beds, and the wall divider was nice. The room was not huge, but we didn't need it to be. The code access for the door was unique, but we liked it. We did check in when staff was there, but the instructions sent to us if someone wasn't there was very clear and easy to understand. Parking lot was plenty big. We would stay here again, and recommend to our friends. "

"The receptionist was very pleasant and helped were possible. Rooms were a little tired. Aircon wasn’t great or didn’t work so we had to have the window open but this made it noisy. My main concern is that hotels.com advertises dog friendly at €8 per dog per night. The manageress insisted it was €15 euros a night and that’s what I had to pay. She also made me promise my dogs wouldn’t bark!! No one wants their dogs to bark and ours didn’t but the fact she was asking how noisey they were and if they were big then they couldn’t stay. Not sure this is very pet friendly at all"
