Take a stroll along the Centre Céramique’s 115-foot (35-metre) display cabinet where pottery, glassware and archaeological finds from around Maastricht inform you of the city’s past. The Centre Céramique was designed by the architect Jo Coenen. While the building is one of Maastricht’s finest examples of modern architecture, the permanent exhibitions pay homage to the city’s industrial past Maastricht was the first Dutch city to join the Industrial Revolution. The centre also serves as one of the city’s main cultural hubs with regular art exhibitions, concerts and lectures held here.

The Centre Céramique is located on Avenue Céramique in the centre of the city. Exhibitions are free unless otherwise stated and the centre is closed on Mondays.
