"I really wanted to love this hotel but my room smelled weird, it was tidy but not really clean. The only heater I could find was a wall heater in the bathroom on a timer which didn’t keep the chill out of the room with an outside temp of 22 degrees. I couldn’t find any extra blankets which would have helped quite a bit. Overall my experience was satisfactory and I would recommend the hotel for travelers due to convenience, price and supporting an independent family business. "

"This reservation was canceled about a week before in an area with few options and a cycling event in which I was a participant. The hotel over booked and kicked me off with no options. Won’t be booking with the hotel or Expedia any time soon. "

"What an absolute gem! Why anyone would stay near the highway for more is beyond me. Perfectly comfy bed. They provide earplugs for some of the train traffic, but it's generally quiet. It is within walking distance to other spots downtown or the excellent local grocery store! Yummy coffee is provided in the morning, a bakery on the spot, and a fantastic dinner joint (pork belley confit...amazing fried chicken, but always rotating...). "Love the McMenamins chain. They are consistently great and not the run of the mill chains. Olympic Club is great if you love trains! Great viewing. The area is very walkable with good food and drink."

"Its fine for a one night cheap stay. The staff were very friendly and I was happy with their service. However, my room was dirty. The fan/heater was incredibly dusty, there were a few "mysterious splatters" around the baseboards, and it hadn't been swept very well. Also, tall people beware! Im 5'1 and the shower was almost too short for me. The room generally needed some matinence. It did not look like the photos. I'm not "appalled" by any means, but I would not be interested in staying at this...

"It’s a lovely vintage hotel in the heart of old Centralia. The manager is so kind and helpful attending to every detail. The rooms and the whole hotel are spotless and comfortable. I recommend this to anyone wanting a unique experience. "
